Looking for The Funniest Person on Earth

I'm wondering if I was able to reach the comedians in Tajikistan and Tonga. I wonder how many English-speakers they have there, or is it perhaps a modest country, whereby they do not wish to appear on worldwide television?

There has to be comedy everywhere, doesn't there? At some point, a guy in Kyrgyzstan has to be eating dinner with his wife, and at some point he has to have stuck out his tongue with a mouthful of chewed food at her, no?

Somewhere in Lesotho a dog humps a guy's leg and other people point and snicker, right?

In Afghanistan a guy shows up to help build a new condominium and his shovel is smaller than the other guys' shovels, and someone says to him, "Your shovel is small," and a dozen Afghanis bust out laughing, isn't that right? I want to have comedians from every country represented, but I'm not even sure this is possible. I read that there are 192 countries in the world, although new ones are being declared on a regular basis. (193 if you count Taiwan, which I may or may not, depending on how China responds to this blog).

Do they even have comedians in places like Tajikistan? Do they have electricity in Tajikistan? Has someone taken a picture of someone doing something funny in Tajikistan? If so, I want to include it in the show. Tajikis, please send it to me.

Do they have the equivalent of the Three Stooges in Mongolia? How about cameras that don't freeze up in the 50-below weather? If so, send the sketch to me.

In these instances, I will make an exception to the dvd/vhs submissions policy. Send me whatever you filmed it on, and I'll have my editor transfer it. This is just for the poor bastards in the poorest countries, people who might not have a U-Edit Video next to their cave.

I am looking for the funniest person on Earth. Man, woman, or child. As part of my new "World Comedy Project," I am producing a series of television shows featuring comedy from every country in the world.

Do you think you're the funniest person on Earth? Or do you know someone that does?

You do not have to be a professional comedian, actor, or performer. Anyone can enter.
